I was born in Malaysia and later moved to the United Kingdom, where I completed my architectural studies before building my career as an architect. Spending many years living, studying, and working in the United Kingdom gave me the opportunity to learn from one of the world's most respected design environments, shaping my appreciation for architecture, craftsmanship, and timeless design.

While architecture remained my profession, my passion for travel and cultural discovery gradually inspired me to seek a more meaningful and diverse path. That journey eventually led me to Cappadocia, where I founded VINEV—a boutique house that brings together my love for architecture, travel, and genuine hospitality.

Every corner of VINEV reflects the places I've explored, the cultures I've experienced, and the belief that thoughtful design should create not only beautiful spaces but meaningful experiences.

Having travelled extensively and lived alongside people from many different backgrounds, I have come to believe that the most memorable journeys are shaped by the connections we make and the stories we share. I speak English, Mandarin, Cantonese, and Malay, allowing me to welcome guests from around the world with warmth and ease.

My hope is that VINEV becomes more than just a place to stay. I want it to be a home where travellers can slow down, experience the beauty of Cappadocia, exchange stories, and create lasting memories together.

For me, travel has always been the greatest teacher. Every destination has broadened my perspective, every culture has enriched my life, and every experience continues to inspire the way I design, host, and live. Creating VINEV is my way of sharing that journey, and I look forward to welcoming you to be part of it.
